Welcome to this Friday’s VTNS (Vintage Textile and Needlework Sellers) Fan Freebie!
If you do an internet search on Filet Crochet, you’ll find wonderful examples of this craft. From lace doilies to bedspreads, filet crochet can be used to make many home decor items.
Today’s freebie includes 22 filet crochet edging patterns. These patterns would be great to add to tea towels, hand towels, pillowcases, cuffs, collars and any other item where a decorative edge could be used.
You’ll find information and links to several websites with tutorials on learning filet crochet on this earlier post, Exploring Filet Crochet.
Also, Heart Strings, a blog by Red Heart Yarns has a very good Ultimate Guide to Filet Crochet.
