Welcome to this Friday’s VTNS Fan Freebie!
I’m sharing a page today from the vintage booklet Filet Crochet and How to Use It by Augusta Pfeuffer. This is a graph for a luncheon cloth with napkins to match.
Cotton crochet thread No. 50 is used for the filet crochet on the luncheon set. The usual size for the cloth is 36 to 38 inches when finished and the napkins are usually 12 or 14 inches square.
Here’s a close up of the finished luncheon cloth and napkin:

You might want to check out an earlier post of 22 filet crochet edge designs from the same booklet.
I’ve added a “filet crochet” category, so it’d be easier to find several other posts of patterns and how to do it. When you click on the category, the latest post (the edge designs) will come up, to see others, click on “older posts” at the lower left bottom of the post.
If you’d like the page in PDF format to download for later, here’s the link:
Download Instructions: Right-Click the link and select either “save target as” or “save link as” depending on what browser you are using or simply click on it and save or print.
