Wreath Cross Stitch Pattern Plus Rooster Flower Garland Sunbonnet Girl

Wreath Cross Stitch Pattern

I love it when I come across Anne Orr designs for cross stitch. I’ve shared several of them and this page of charts is just as good as the others.

The wreath in red and green or silver and gold will make a pretty Christmas gift, framed or on a hand towel.

This page is another one from 1921. It’s Plate 4, Set E. You’ll find a rooster, flower garland and sunbonnet girl along with the wreath cross stitch pattern.

First I’ve scanned the page with the graph lines very light. This way you can see the designs without the distraction of all the lines.

Pretty Articles Made From This Sheet

The back of this chart page has several ideas to use the designs. It’s a little hard to read, but worth taking a look at. There’s a Napkin Case, Baby Bath Set, Baby Bib, Baby Buggy Cover and Pillow as well as a Garden Seat and Apron.

Oh I love these so much. I especially enjoy the very old crafts, as you already know I’m sure. Ms Debra have you ever seen the site “Pic 2 Pat”? You upload an image, any kind, and it will perform a translation of your image into cross stitch pattern, from very detailed to “vague”. I had a plan for an image to cross stitch as a special gift for someone, & forgot all about that plan until now when I see these posted.
Another nice thing someone can do with these, what I do, I make small cross stitch or embroidery gift tags. These would be perfect you know, especially the wreath one as it’s not too complicated and will be quicker to complete. Just get a small Aida cloth, sew the edges or something, there you go.
