Welcome to VTNS (Vintage Textile and Needlework Sellers) Fan Freebie Friday!

Today’s vintage crochet pattern is not only great to use for shopping but for storing onions, potatoes and other produce in your pantry. The netting feature will let air circulate.

The pattern uses a size 7 crochet hook and JP Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen Cotton Crochet Thread. This bag is done in red, but there are many other colors you could choose from.

The shopping bag folds down so that it can tuck in to the corner of your purse to have handy for that spur of the moment shopping trip. Best of all these are reusable so you’ll use less of those plastic grocery bags.
