Butterfly Hand Embroidery Design
This lovely hand drawn butterfly design is from an 1871 Peterson’s Ladies Magazine. It’s original purpose was for the corner of a handkerchief.
To save or print it, click on the image, it opens in another window, then print or save, which is usually under “file” in your browser or you can right click on the image for a drop down menu of options to copy or save.
Different Sizes for Printing
The design above takes up almost the whole page when you print it. As is, it would be a great coloring page. You can reduce the size on your printer or I’ve added 3 more in smaller sizes below.
The first image is the original size for an embroidered handkerchief corner.
The second design is a little bigger and would be pretty on the front of a bib on a jumper or the corners of a table cloth.
Framed or as the center of attention, the last image is large enough to be on it’s own.
Download Instructions: Right-Click on the image. Select either “save link as” or “save image as” depending on what browser you are using. Or simply click on it, it will open in a new window and save it from there.
