Toddler Coat and Cap Knitting Pattern

It’s a cute coat and cap for a one or two year old. Even though it’s from 1924, it’s still a cute outfit for a toddler during winter time.

Columbia Lambs Wool

The coat and cap is knitted in Columbia Lambs Wool. It looks soft and knobby. A good substitute would be:

Lamb’s Pride Worsted Knitting Yarn
85% Wool 15% Mohair
Handwash in Cool Water
190 yards per skein

Or

Lion Brand Wool Ease Yarn
4-ply worsted weight yarn
80% Acrylic 20% Wool
197 yards per skein

the baby crib blanket pattern is adorable.

About your yarn substitution for the toddler sweater(?) if you haven’t tried the Lamb’s Pride yarn, it is wonderful. It is one of my most favorite yarns of all, that 15% mohair is a very nice and pretty yarn. I buy them in bags of five from “Little Knits” that has them cheaper than anyone.
