This vintage instruction page is for a crocheted oval rug that is made of a continuous strip of cord, crocheted in different colors, to look like a five sided tube, which is then sewed into the desired shape.

The border is black and dusty rose. The remainder of the rug is a hit and miss effect made by using short lengths of several different colors of rug yarn

An H-6 crochet hook is used and the approximate size of the rug is 27 x 41 inches.
