Shag Rug
Remember the lovely orange, greens and browns of the 1970’s. Here they are in a multi-colored shag rug. This Aunt Lydia’s Rug Yarn craft booklet is titled Novelties & Things.
The pattern is named Fringe Rug. It’s size is approximately 27 x 42 inches. To make the foundation you make a chain of 76 then 97 rows of single crochet stitches.
Once your foundation is done, you can work over each chain 1 space according to the illustration below. This will make the fringe in your shag rug.
