There are several sites that have tutorials on tatting. Do a search on “tatting instructions” and many good sites come up.
One is How to Shuttle Tat. This website has 26 steps with large photographs of each.

This site, BellaOnline.com has an article that follows instructions for Alphabet A-K from the book WWI Era Tatting Craft Anna Valeire Book 3.
This book includes a very similar tatted alphabet as the one I’ve shared.
Another book devoted to tatting that includes a pretty alphabet is Tatted Garden Alphabet: Letters from an Irish Country Cottage Garden.
I looked inside this book on Amazon and recommend that you do to. You’ll see beautiful original tatted letter patterns with well written instructions and great photographs of the finished design.
There are more than thirty original patterns inspired by the flowers, leaves and vines growing in the garden of an Irish country cottage.
