Whether you’re sharing one of the plants from your garden or purchased a pretty flower, adding this crocheted flower plant cover will make it one of a kind.

This cover will work with a flower pot that is 4½ inches in diameter across the top, 2½ inches in diameter across the base and 4½ inches in height.

Knit-Cro-Sheen

The pattern uses J&P Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen 100% mercerized cotton. It is still available online where vintage threads are sold. I good substitute is Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread Classic 10.

You’ll also need a Size No. 7 crochet hook. You can use a thread color that will coordinate with the flowers on the plant or just go green.

Not only will this make a nice gift for any occasion, it would be a nice way to decorate your own plants at home.
