Snowman Knitting Pattern from Aunt Lydia’s Rug Yarn Collection Star Book No. 225

Showman Snowman

Snowman Knitting Pattern - Vintage Crafts and More

This cute knitted snowman pattern is from an American Thread Aunt Lydia’s Rug Yarn Collection Star Book No. 225.

He uses two 70 yard skeins of white Heavy Rug Yarn and 1 pair of size No. 8 knitting needles. The gauge is 4 sts = 1 inch.

Rubber balls, one 7 inches in diameter and one 5½ inches in diameter are used as his body. Black felt and red ribbon are used for his accessories. I’m sure you could use polyester stuffing rather than the rubber balls to fill out his body.
