Welcome to this Friday’s VTNS Fan Freebie!
Again today, I’ve pulled out and opened my 1930’s quilt scrapbook. I’ve found two very pretty Kansas City Star Christmas quilt patterns designed by Eveline Foland.
Since we are getting so close to Christmas you might not have enough time to make a fabulous full size quilt from these patterns, but even an accent pillow in holiday colors would be fun to add to the couch or bed.
As a matter of fact in the caption accompanying the pattern, Eveline suggests making this Poinsettia pillow as a holiday gift and the Christmas Star as a cushion.
I took the liberty of quickly adding a little color to one of the patterns just to give you an idea of what a pretty red, green and white pillow might look like.
Also check out some of the other quilt patterns I’ve shared, you’ll find I open my vintage quilting scrapbook a lot.
Here are the patterns in PDF format:
Be sure to stop by the VTNS Fanpage if you make one of these quilt pillows, we’d love to see your work.
The patterns are in PDF format so to download them you’ll need the Adobe Reader software on your computer. Most computers come with it, but it is free and can be found here.
