Vintage Christmas Quilt Pillow Patterns

Welcome to this Friday’s Fan Freebie!

Again today, I’ve pulled out and opened my 1930’s quilt scrapbook. I’ve found two very pretty Kansas City Star Christmas quilt patterns designed by Eveline Foland.

Since we are getting so close to Christmas you might not have enough time to make a fabulous full size quilt from these patterns, but even an accent pillow in holiday colors would be fun to add to the couch or bed.

As a matter of fact in the caption accompanying the pattern, Eveline suggests making this Poinsettia pillow as a holiday gift and the Christmas Star as a cushion.

I took the liberty of quickly adding a little color to one of the patterns just to give you an idea of what a pretty red, green and white pillow might look like.
