Filet Crochet Owl Pattern

Handbook of Crochet No. 2

Filet Crochet Owl Pattern

The Owl design can be used as an medallion motif, an insertion or a border.

I came across this filet crochet owl pattern in the Handbook of Crochet No. 2 Published by Needlecraft Publishing Company, Augusta Maine. I didn’t find a copyright date.

The booklet has more than just filet crochet patterns. You’ll find several pretty doilies, edgings, insertions and baby items.

Click on the cover and it will take you to the PDF link at the Antique Pattern Library. Definitely worth taking a look at.

Explanation of Stitches

I wanted to include this Explanation of Stitches page as well. Not only does it have crochet stitches but towards the bottom there are Terms Used In Filet Crochet which will help with this owl pattern.
