Welcome to this VTNS (Vintage Textile and Needlework Sellers) Fan Freebie!
It’s Labor Day weekend in the United States and this marks the end of summer vacations. One last barbecue over the weekend before the grill is covered and put away. Of course, if you live in a place where the climate is nice all year round, you can leave it out and use the recipe in this post all year long.
BARBECUED SPARE RIBS
There are 3 pot holder patterns included with this recipe. Each uses mercerized crochet cotton. For some suggestions on a substitute yarn to use see this blog post, Fish and Crab Potholder Crochet Patterns. The recipe and crochet patterns are from a 1944 Star Pot Holders Book No. 32.
Here’s the pattern file you can save for later:
The pattern is in PDF format so to read it you’ll need the Adobe Reader software on your computer. Most computers come with it, but it is free and can be found here.
